Tuesday, May 28, 2006  We have something pretty cool for you today.  EvanT sent us a new/updated English Checklist you can download.  He also sent a complete English card pool (complete with statistics and a filter capability). Both Files are in Excel XP format and updated for EOJ. We haven't had an updated checklist for you in about 3/4 of a year, so this hits the spot nicely.  Thanks Evan!  You can get these files here.  They are also in the left margin for future reference.    

WH1T3TYG3R sent us the Spoiler for the Invincible Fortress Starter today too.  That's in the left hand margin as well.

Smoke_Rulz has a New Apprentice Patch!  "Added Enemy of Justice. Some assorted promos, as well: Breath of Light, Toon Dark Magician Girl, Elemental Hero Wildheart (also in EEN), the 3 cards from DPK-SE pack (Blockman, Treasure Map, & Hero Spirit). Also fixed the whole GX Starter Deck: The card ID is YSD, not YDS. All the cards as well as the set ID in Apprentice have been changed. Much thanks to David Kates for his help with card-finding and error-killing!"  It's on our Apprentice Page for those of you that play Apprentice.

Thursday, May 11, 2006  We have more news about DVD release of YU-GI-OH! CAPSULE MONSTERS.  The day before the release ... the official yu-gi-oh website will stream the entire 90-minute DVD.  Details in our News today. 

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX hit PSP - "Konami today announced Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (working title) for the PSP. The first Yu-Gi-Oh! game for the PSP system, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX takes players back to the Duel Academy as they join the Slifer Red dormitory and take on other students from Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue. This school year, the Duel Academy has decided to hold a different kind of competition, allowing the students to compete in teams of two. Depending on who your partner is, players will earn rewards such as access to the lavish Duel Academy Island for one whole day.

A new way to duel, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX features an original tag team battle system that lets the player switch between two teammates in the middle of battle, each with their own unique deck. The game features more cards than any Yu-Gi-Oh video game ever has, allowing for all new deck and duel strategies. Additionally, each battle is highlighted with an updated duel field, complete with animations for each card. Players can also create their own duel puzzles for endless strategic card-based action. Offering expanded multiplayer functionality, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX lets up to four players compete wirelessly in a single duel at the same time for intense multi-team standoffs. Scheduled to launch in Fall 2006."

Friday, May 5, 2006  Yu-Gi-Oh - Capsule Monsters (2006) - hits stores on May 23, 2006.  "In the follow up to the theatrical film and DVD release -- Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie -- the new film pits Yugi, Tea, Tristen and Joey against a new crop of ancient monsters who are out to destroy them. To defeat the monsters, the kids must work together as a team and abandon their trusty Duel Disks for different technology -- Capsule Shooters."  This DVD can be pre-ordered from Amazon.com for $11.19!
