ExMinion OfDarkness
Exiled Force

Yet one more 1/1 we see heavily in competitive play.

Exiled is one of those "maybe, maybe not" cards. Some decks need it and some don't, unlike the Heavy/NoCs/Premature/Snatch/Mirror/Call/Torrential/Graceful/etc, etc, etc, etc... It's a 1/1 that doesn't care about position, but does cost you your summon. It's not a bad followup to a Cyber Dragon on an early turn, clearing out their face-down Deko/Merchant/whatever so you can smack for 21 and then make them waste a resource to deal with Cyber next turn...

The new lifeblood that's been poured into Exiled comes in the form of Last Will. With Last Will's revised rules, it's almost imposslbe not to get it to trigger, and between Exiled Force, Torrential Tribute, and Monarchs, it just becomes a better and better card.

Not much else to be said about our old LOD friend, except that if you need one more removal card and your deck isn't lacking in field presence as it is, then go ahead and use it.

4/5

Exiled Force:

Today we look at a card I've had for ages, also a card who seems to come an go based on the meta. At the start of the last format he saw lots of play in chaos-toolbox decks, yet towards the end it saw less and less play. Right now there is no solid base of use of xforce, although the players who run him do it to great effect. The main problem is is such a monster heavy format people really don't want to leave their field that exposed.

Really his use right now depends on the deck, if you feel the need for more removal, and can afford to run a monster other than the frog who is not a light or dark, then xforce could be useful. I myself don't feel the need to run him as I've never been in a situation where I couldn't do the job xforce does more effectively with another card.

Tradional: 2.5

Exiled Force:
The errata of this card demonstrates just how messy Yu-Gi-Oh wording can be. Four lines = one line.

This monster has had less a drop in popularity than the previous two days, but it isn't as rampant as when every man and his dog ran RotA. Now, if you are running RotA, you better be playing one of these. If you're playing Sangan, this is also a good idea.

Exiled is around for those times when you need to kill something. Every so often, you'll be searching your deck and a monster of infinite annoyance will be sitting on the field. Exiled has always been an efficient answer.

Traditional: 4/5
Advanced: 4.5/5

Exiled Force

Man I love Exiled Force. Its so good as a side deck card, you can just take out anything and add him in, no thinking involved. So good. Targeted removal, gets rid of anything before your opponent even seen it coming. Pesky Jinzo? Exiled. Sorcerer? Exiled. Hell, anything blocking a Reaper hit? Exiled!

Combos include Last Will for a Spirit Reaper and such, and this thing is search able with Reinforcement of the Army. Greattt.

Constructed: 4/5.
Traditional: No rating.

Exiled force ;

Ahhh a refreshing change. Exiled force is the best 1 for 1 remover in the game, hitting both face up and face down cards. Its often the best defense against cards like Spirit Reaper or something huge like a Cyber end dragon (you never know)

Exiled also boasts a decent 1000 atk and def points , as well as being a warrior and earth making it incredibly searchable, and in the case of warrior, re usable.

Exiled falls short though to DD Warrior lady, although it is a very close call. DDWL has slightly better stats, and a bit of a more permanent effect (although I guess currently that’s debatable)

Still, Exiled is a worthwhile addition to any deck, and is never a mistake to use.

Exiled Force

Monster removal capable of pulling 2 for 1's. It can be regenerated by using call and premature burial. Reachable by Giant Rat, Reinforcements of the Army, sangan, and able to kill face-downs or face-ups.

This is what we call a balanced card. For its effect is great, it is usable, and it costs you a summon in one way, shape, or form.

4/5

Not broken but a solid monster all around and one of the better forms of fairness though of in this game. The person who came up with this needs a pat on the back.

Whoever brought Chaos and all of its versions needs to be smacked across the face and asked;

"what where you thinking?"

Earth/Level 4

Warrior/Effect:

Offer face-up this card on your side of the field as a Tribute to destroy 1 monster on the field. If this card is used for a Tribute Summon or this card is offered as a Tribute due to other cards' effects, this card's effect is not activated.
I loved this card back when I ran RotA. Just kill anything you dislike. Face down looks threatening? X-Force it! Big monster on the field you really don't want? X-Force it! Anything in my way? just X-Force it! Any monster on my side of the field not doing its job? X-Force it!..... or maybe not. Being a Warrior Lv 4 makes it a valid target for RotA/Giant Rat/Warrior Lady of the Wasteland, so it fits nicely into Warrior decks or Earth based decks.
This format has seen less play in X-Force, because it's more field control oriented. People would rather tribute Treeborn Frog for Zaborg, a Light "X-Force" that stays alive with 2400 ATK. If you run Warrior/Warrior Toolbox, this card is essential. The searchable greatness of RoTA increases its playability, but other that its pretty much another 1:1.
Oh, it combos nicely with Last Will. Just some food for thought

Traditional > 2/5: theres enough mass removal there
Advance > 4/5: Still a good card to use no matter what deck you run
Artwork > 5/5: I love the artwork reminds me of a soccer mob with weapons now thats scary

Pippin Exiled Force

Ah, the Super Rare turned Common, oh how the mighty have fallen.

This card used to be the way to rid yourself of Jinzo or other nasty big and bads. Now its an earth warrior 1000 atk 1000 def take em or leave em. Being Earth and Warrior gives it MASSIVE support and searchability. It combos well with Call of the Haunted and Premature Burial. Last Will is in love with this card. Earth decks can make use of it in and out of the graveyard.

Last Will is my favotire combo. Play Exiled, pop Exiled for a quick kill, Play Last Will, dig Injection Fairy Lily/Spirit Reaper/Newdoria/DD Warrior Lady/insert 1500 or less cardboard of happyness here. Unfortunately another bully is running the playground, one with some bite. Zaborg has come to steal away Exiled's thunder, in essence, Exiling them once again.

I do not run this card in my deck, but thats because of its attribute (it ain't dark or light, its dirt) But if I had an earth or warrior deck, I would run this.

Bottom Line: Earth/Warrior deck
Traditional: 4/5 - Better forms of monster destruction exist here, but it still makes a dent.
Advanced: 5/5 - Searchable, destructable, revivable, fillintheblackable
Splash: 3/5 - serious thought and play testing needs to be had before finally deciding to run this in a non-warrior/non-earth deck.

Art: 2/5 Nothing spectacular, just thugs armed to the teeth that are dying to kill you.

Until next time, remember, dirty mercenaries are people too.

Pippin
