Bountiful Artemis

Ahh, counter-fairies.

This card makes so many others playable -- suddenly, Negate Attack isn't a -1 that stops all attacks, it's a 1-for-1. Solemn still drops half your LP but replaces itself. Magic Drain becomes a HUGE advantage gainer, either stopping one spell for free or costing your opponent two cards to get the effect of that one spell.

It's not too shabby itself, clocking in at 1600 ATK and sporting the same type and attribute as everything else that works off the counter-trap mechanic...but there's the problem -- 1600 ATK. Just 100 higher than anything that'd allow it to be searched, and no good alternate search methods for it (no Reinforcement of the Army for Fairies, for example.) You may have to play that Graceful a little earlier than you planned, and run a little more deck thinning than originally wanted, to make sure you get your copy of Bountinul Artemis onto the field, and then protecting it becomes the highest priority until you've established insane amounts of field presence. On a positive note, with Magic Jammer and Seven Tools being counter traps, you have ways to block Spells/Traps from destroying it, and Forced Back/Horn of Heaven become either free or lower-costed answers to cards like Zaborg and Exiled Force that would destroy Artemis without attacking.

In general, I give the card a 3/5 until someone makes an SJC T8 with counter-fairies, then it goes up.

Bountiful Artemis

A card for those that like sunsets. Shame this won't make your opponent ride into it.

1600/1700 is OK in the scheme of things for stats, being able to hold its own against a fair few monsters (mostly elemental searchers), and decent DEF's are hard to come by in Yu-Gi-Oh. The effect, also, is useful for Fairies. Activate Counter Trap, get free card. Counter Traps are generally good and free cards are always good (except against Injustice Gang, but I won't go into that). The only problem is having this on the field at the same time as an excuse to play a counter trap.

Traditional: 1.5/5
Advanced: 2/5
Counter Fairies: 3/5

Share and enjoy,

020 BOUNTIFUL ARTEMIS
ATK - 1600 DEF - 1700
LIGHT 4* FAIRY (EFFECT)
WHILE THIS CARD IS FACE-UP ON THE FIELD, DRAW 1 CARD FROM YOUR DECK EACH TIME A COUNTER TRAP CARD IS ACTIVATED.

A card that not only has great stats, a great attribute, and a great effect, this card has generated an entirely new deck type (counter fairy control).

4/5

simply because it is playable, pays for itself, and is a threatening presence on the field.

If you run a counter trap fairy deck, stick in one of these.

Drawing cards is always useful, and this is no exception. Decent attack and defense mean that you aren’t out a card if you activate a fee trap that’s a counter, and they are. That’s a +1 already.

The best combo’s I can think of are this and Negate attack, this and Forced Back, and this with Magic Drain. That’s a good one, Magic Drain. Counter fairies essentially work by negating whatever the opponent wants to do and pulling of a combo for it as well, which is a fairly advantageous strategy if I do say so myself, they could potentially be really cool.

These Counter - Fairies are pretty sweet, I like them a lot. Decent attack and defense, as well as a drawing effect make this card a winner for me. Just use it in the right deck, outside of that it’s hopeless.

Traditional : (counter fairy ) 4/5
Advanced (counter fairy) 4/5

Art : 3.5/5 I love that style of monster.

Bountiful Artemis

Basic Summary: Of now this card is somewhat cool but in its own deck type mainly obvious the Counter-Fairy deck. Now a deck running Forced Back, Solemn Judgement, or even Magic Drain can make great use of this card like for example stop 1 of thier cards then draw a new card to replace the resource. Now its stats arn't very bad it can hold its own on the field long enough to pull off its effect maybe once ot twice. Now also the effect works no matter who play the Counter Trap but most likely that will never come into effect but hey its still a pro :D

Conclusion: Now I heard this deck can be pretty effective but I still dislike the whole reliant effect on slower traps but at least its more non-Hero cards =/

Traditional Format > 2/5: Solemn Judgement to negate CeD + draw a card could be usefull

Advance Format > 3/5: Solemn Judgement to negate Stein summoning + draw a card could be usefull

Artwork > 2/5: What is it ????
