Dark Paladin
Friday

Closing the week, we look at The Calculator, who is a monster of the Thunder Attribute. He has ? attack and 0 defense, but could have a very high attack, depending on the monsters you control and their Levels.

The Calculator's attack is equal to the combined Levels of the monsters you control x300. So, if he is all you control, that's 600 attack.
However, you probably control two to three monsters at any given time, mid to late game anyway.

Assuming both were Level 4, that's 8, plus the two for The Calculator himself, that's 3000 points! Or, if you have a Monarch and The Calculator, that's 2400 points, which is still respectable. I think he is a decent enough card, but most people won't use him.

Ratings:

Traditional: 2.5/5 He is Light, and him plus an Envoy is 3000 points.

Advanced: 3.5/5 He has potential enough to be good, but as stated,
would anyone use him?

General Zorpa The Calculator

This guy is actually not that bad for a level 2 monster. He does have ? ATK points and zero DEF, so that must mean his effect is pretty good. He gains 300 ATK for the total level of all monsters you control. Mainly you would use this with Yubel, as she has 10 stars and would leave our calculus loving friend at 3600 ATK points (he gets 600 for his own 2 stars). Generally you can see this guy with a Monarch or a level four monster, meaning he would have 1800 and 2400 ATK points respectively (2100 if you have Zaborg).

He can work wonders in any deck that needs to swarm the field, including Samurai, DDT, Perfect Circle and Machine decks. He even does ok against Baburn, weighing in at 2400 with all of the tokens on the field.

Traditional-1/5
Advanced-4/5
