General Zorpa Night's End Sorcerer

Finally! A good card! Night's End Sorceror was paired with Secret Village of the Spellcasters in CSOC and is one of the better Spellcasters to come out since Magical Exemplar. 1300 ATK on a level 2 DARK Spellcaster is just asking for trouble right off the bat. Oh yeah, and it's a TUNER to boot.

Whenever he is Special Summoned, you remove 2 cards in your opponent's graveyard from play. The classic play with this card is to Summon Magical Exemplar, play Foolish Burial and send Night's End to the graveyard. You get counters on Exemplar and Special Summon the Sorceror for an instant Goyo Guardian. NICE!

He also works with key Spellcaster cards like Magical Dimension and Magician's Circle. All of these cards will trigger his effect (I believe) so pretty much any deck wanting to run Spellcasters will run this guy. Paired up with Secret Village, this card can completely shut down the LIghtsworn strategy, which is key due to the fact that it will be a huge deck coming up.

Kewl!! I’ve been wanting to review this card!

First off – lets talk stats – 1300 ATK aint a heck’uva’lot, but its not too shabby attached to a level 2 monster. Dark attribute – best in the game today. Spellcaster – not too bad actually, especially in terms of his effect. And Level 2 – actually a good thing with this guy, as he then can take advantage of all the low level monster support that come about in recent boosters.

His effect? – When he is special summoned u remove up to 2 cards from your opponent’s Graveyard – awesome. Every duelists knows that the grave is just as fearsome as the hand, if not moreso, these days. And anything that helps take some of those options away from your opponent are things that u want in your life. It’s the reason people play D.D. Crow. And this little dude? – He gets twice the removal when special summoned, which he can do quite handily. Magicians Circle will special summon him. Graceful Revival will do it too. Mystic Tomato … Whatever! He’s custom built for special summoning. So you’re bound to get his effect. What’s more? – He’s a tuner. Meaning afterwards, u synch him up to bring out something even meaner.

Oh, and his picture is pretty cool too.

Hands down my favori te card from Crossroads of Chaos
