Dark Paladin

Dragunity Knight-Gae Dearg...a Level 6 Synchro monster, of the Wind attributed, with 2400 attack (the norm for a Level 6 monster) and a miserbly, detestable, 800 defense.  This is a Dragon monster, Synchro Summoned with a Dragon type Tuner and one or more non-Tuner Winged-Beast type monsters.

Wow...read and think about that for a minute.  A specific type of Tuner (Dragon type Tuner) and a specific type of non-Tuner (one or more Winged-Beast) really hurts this card.  Specific on one or the other is usually difficult enough to pull off.

Is this worth using, even in a Deck dedicated to the two types of mosnters?  Well, he wants to be, but not really.  Once per turn you can add a Level 4 or lower Dragon or Winged-Beast type monster from your Deck to your Hand.  (That's really not bad)  BUT, you have to discard a monster of the aforementioned type to the Graveyard.  Not worth playing I believe.

Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg can confuse a lot of players who don't know what the Dragunity theme is. It's a bunch of Dragons and Winged-Beasts. I might not be right, but I'm pretty sure the Dragons equip themselves to the Winged-Beasts to give them effects. The Dragons are the Tuners and the Winged-Beasts are the non-Tuners.

This isn't the best Dragunity Synchro. When they make their Dragunity Synchros, they usually take Vajrayana, who can double his ATK to nearly 4000. I don't know much about Dragunities, though. I've faced tons of Dragunity decks in the YuGiOh World Championship games, and they've never given me any trouble, even though it's so popular.

It's a good card for cycling and preparing. I'm not sure if I can say much else, because I'm no Dragunity expert. Expect this card's value to rise with the release of more Hidden Arsenal packs.

Fun Combo: Equip Amazoness Sword Master with the Heirloom.
Tomorrow: It has a face, for some reason.

Today’s card is Dragunity Knight Gay Dar—I mean Gae Dearg. He’s a synchro from the new Dragunity set that I know little about. What I do know is that Dragunity is based off of dragons and winged beasts. Gay Dar is a 6 star, which is not bad. He takes a dragon tuner, and the non-tuners have to be winged beasts, but since Dragunity is all about those two types, the restriction shouldn’t be that much of a problem. His effect allows you to pull a dragon or winged beast from your deck, and then drop one from your hand. The fact that dropping from your hand is written after the pull from your deck means that the drop is not considered a cost, and also it means that you don’t have to have a target in your hand to use the ability. I’m not sure how Dragunities work, but being able to search, as well as load your grave with resources, is always good in my book. It’s also got 2400 attack, which is decent for a six star.

Here we have our first look at the Dragunity monsters and this one is a synchro. A level 6 WIND Dragon Synchro with 2400 attack and 800 defense. WIND is bad, Dragon is great, 2400 is meh since it loses to iron chain, gaia knight and goyo and 800 defense is awful.

So, the stats are somewhat lackluster the attribute is horrible and the type is ok. Well it can only be summoned by a dragon tuner and a winged beast type synchro materials, so your tuner will be a Debris Dragon and a Dragunity monster.

So its also specific, but what about the effect? Once per turn  you fetch a level  4 or lower dragon or winged beast type from your deck and add it to your hand, then you have to discard a dragon/winged beast.

So, thats.....good? I have no idea how Dragunitys work, so im guessing this would be good for them.
