Metabo-Shark

Well it is an 1800 WATER Fish that is a level 4 with 1800 ATK and 500 DEF. The ATK is nothing to really get excited about, but the defense is horrid beyond belief. The fact that it is a Fish helps a little, as there is some decent Fish stuff out there, but not enough to warrant a deck being made out of it.

The effect is simple, when it is Normal Summoned, you can place 2 Fish in your graveyard back into your deck. You can do some cool things with (wait for it) Superancient Deepsea King Coelocanth when you run out of Fishies to Tune with, but beyond that it is worthless. Useful in that deck alone and that deck does not see play means bad card, but fun.

Advanced-1.5/5

Metabo-Shark …

This card is not too bad. Solid stats – 1800 ATK for a 4 star monster is respectable enough. Water is a pretty good attribute (2nd tier), and with A Legendary Ocean, this card becomes that much better. A level 3, 2000 ATK monster. Very very nice. And then the effect … Well that depends on what u are playing with. Obviously – u need Fish … perhaps the WORST (or to be fair – “least supported”) monster type in the entire game. If Metabo-Shark let u take any 2 WATER monsters, it would be an EXCELLENT card, merely for the recycle engine alone that u could get going with Deep Sea Diva and all her friends … But it doesn’t. You’re stuck with only being able to grab Fish, so until they start making some more really good Fish monsters with the support to back them up, this card only gets points for its potential … and its cool picture.

Metabo Shark:

I'm kind of partial to water decks, so I like this card. This card is here to help you recycle the cards used in the Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth combo. Royal Swamp Eel and Oyster Meister come to mind as good targets for Metabo's effect, or Deepsea King himself. Metabo is water, so it serves as Moray of Greed fodder. His atk is also good for the meta at 1800, and he is a fish so he works with the trap Fish Depth Charge.

Advanced: 2.0
