Saikyo Cardfighter R Almost everything in this Top 10 was stuff I suggested. Here’s one of two that wasn’t: Bledermaus. The other was Luard. And just like Dragstrider Luard, this one passed me over because of how he suffers from Situational-Redundancy-Syndrome (I come up with the best names for shit, yes I do SHUT UP) in that you kind of need to already be winning for him to work. Still, if the 5k to two units plus a re-standing Vanguard is enough of a deal-breaker, go nuts. 3.5/5 |
KippForShort This is one of the main cards that helped Dark Irregulars get on the map. The timing of its cost can occasionally cause some issues, but those drawbacks aren’t nearly large enough to stop Bledermaus from being an incredible card. 4/5 |
Aruku This card is amazing in DI and solves almost all of their problems. After soul charging 90% of the deck the turn before, striding into this beast will almost guarantee a deck full of triggers. Add to the fact he is a restander means you have 4 checks from a deck full of triggers. AMAZING

What’s up, Rogue Squad?! For our #7, we’re looking at one of two cards on our list that, some people say and agree, singlehandedly made their respective clans that much more competitive in tournament play. For today, it’s Bledermaus. The main problem that Dark Irregulars had was that they would have the misfortune of Soulcharging their triggers from time to time, but Bledermaus fixes that, grants power to two units AND restands itself (with only 1 drive check), but the beatbox thing about this is that after you put all of your Grade 0’s back into the deck, unless you put Enigmatic Assassins or your starter back into the deck, it pretty much guarantees you an abundance of triggers for this turn and perhaps even the rest of the game. Simply put, if you’re playing Dark Irregulars, then run 4 of these. Rating: 4/5 Artwork: 4/5 Next Time: The one card none of us on the CotD team have reviewed yet…though I’m sure Saikyo is just foaming in the mouth to review. Also, Saikyo, this Top 10 was a group effort, so you’re welcome on the Bledermaus nomination…and “SRS” is a stupid name. Come at me, bruh. ;P Go Rogue…Go Pro…and Top the Meta!!! |
