Who you gonna call? If you need this particular service, it might be more common than you think – like pretty much every colorless artifact that interacts with the graveyard, Ghost Vacuum is intended to be a safety valve of sorts. Any deck can just toss it into their maindeck or sideboard and get some degree of protection against graveyard strategies. Its limited scope and tapping to activate means that it’s of lesser use against the faster or more degenerate graveyard decks, but there aren’t so many of those in recent sets. I do think that some people will be more tempted to build around its containment overload ability. It doesn’t help you turn your opponent’s big creatures on them in terms of size, and it doesn’t actually often save you that much mana when used on your own creatures. I’d bet, however, that there’s a casual deck where you use cards like Terastodon to mess people up despite their being reduced to 1/1 fliers.

An homage to all of the various “suck up ghosts” tropes, Ghost Vacuum is pretty much what it promises: graveyard hate, mixed with a bit of later trickery. While I feel like the most applicable bit of this is going to be the targeted exile, don’t sleep on the ability to turn it into a massive board out of nowhere. Still, its main job is to be pinpoint graveyard hate, and it does that job very well, though it can only suck so hard and may have issues if a graveyard demands multiple answers.
