So nice, you have to do it twice. If you had to cast this card for its printed mana cost, it might well not be worth it – there’s a lot more obviously game-winning things that red decks can do for four mana. But when you can start with it in play, it changes the calculation a little bit. It’s perhaps even slightly worse in general, because there will be times when you don’t get it and end up feeling a little bad when casting it for four mana. There will also be times when you use it to stack a bunch of power-boosting (or even doubling – check the Foundations rumors) spells and overrun someone before they play their third land. This card is much less narrow than it looks, and much more interesting to build around than red’s previous Leyline variants; it’s already popular now, and it’s going to remain so.

Copying is dangerous, and a source of free and persistent copying van also be particularly perilous. Leyline of Resonance is somewhat limited in what it can copy; it will only copy a single-target instant or sorcery aimed at your creature. And it turns out that, even though red is notoriously poor at drawing cards, copying cantripping buff spells (like Might of the Meek) adds up quickly. Very, very quickly.
Leyline of Resonance is relatively narrow, and it needs support to shine. It can if you give it that support, but it has particular demands (lots of buff spells and/or cantrips to target your creatures). It also makes for a fairly lousy topdeck, but it does stack with itself, so that can be fun in Standard and Pioneer.
Constructed: 4 (it’s quite narrow, but it rewards a deck that can maximize what it has to offer)
Casual: 4.5
Limited: 3 (harder to guarantee you’ll have what you need to make this really pop)
Multiplayer: 3
Commander [EDH]: 3.5 (decks centered around Zada, Hedron Grinder might not mind this, but it’s even more finicky here)
