Horrified Greek Monsters Gameplay

How does Horrified Play?

Horrified is a cooperative “Pick up and Deliver game”, that feels a little like Pandemic, but you’re fighting monsters instead of viruses.  The monsters slowly creep towards you on the board, while you are trying to run away and find gear and items to fend them off.

For those familiar with the Horrified series, the core gameplay remains the same. You team up with fellow heroes, each with their own special skills, and race around a beautifully illustrated board. Your mission? Gather essential items, complete monster-specific puzzles, and ultimately banish these fiendish creatures before the terror meter explodes.  Turns will be quick once players learn how to play.

The Verdict?

Horrified: Greek Monsters is a fantastic stand-alone expansion that delivers a fresh and challenging experience for veterans. The new monsters, lairs, and hero abilities add welcome complexity, while the gorgeous artwork and theme elevate the gameplay. Whether you’re a seasoned Horrified player or a newcomer to the series, this Greek Monsters is sure to provide a thrilling and memorable adventure.

Overall Score: 4.5 out of 5 – A must-have for co-op and Greek Mythology fans!

Pojo Notes – We found the game to be particularly fun with 3 or 4 players. The increased player interaction and hero synergy really shine when facing these legendary foes. The Labyrinth location is a bit fiddly. It might take a playthrough or two to fully grasp its functionality.
