Saikyo Cardfighter R Now, she’s the new backup Ahsha. Still not a bad card to sit on though as she still addresses anything not called Chaos Breaker. You’re going to be using her for the Gredora matchup now, since her end-of-turn call works around Obtirandus and Gredora, while G Guardians like Rain Breath Dragon help in conjunction. Outclassed, but still useful to a degree. There’s bugger all else to run as a fallback, so why not. 3/5 |
What’s up, Rogue Squad?! For our Throwback Thursday this week, we’re looking at the second Ahsha card made, or as I like to call her, White Rose Ahsha. Unfortunately, since Blue Rose Ahsha was released, White Rose has been more of a backup Vanguard as it doesn’t have as strong of a searching power as Blue Rose, however, while Blue Rose is made to help counter Chaos Breaker, White Rose is more anti-Gredora as Gredora’s no-call skill only works during your turn, and you can activate this during their end phase on what would’ve been the affected column and still have something to attack with (this unfortunately does not work against Obtirandus however as Obtirandus’s skill and wording begins to linger at the point of activation and not until the next player’s turn). White Rose Ahsha is still a useful card in certain matchups, so don’t count her out just yet. Rating: 3/5 Next Time: Everything goes Critical…wonderful… Go Rogue…Go Pro…and Fight the Meta!!! |
