Artistic Ocelot – Cardfight Vanguard Card of the Day

Now that we’ve covered the more interesting sights of G-BT14, I felt it was only right to use this week to correct an oversight and review the Great Nature cards we put off for weeks. Starting us off is this, powercrept Binoculars Tiger. First skill is largely uninteresting except to proc Success, but it’s free so there’s that. You want it for the second skill, which makes even a 9k attacker 17k unboosted and gives you an easy draw even if your unit dies some other way first like meeting a Denial Griffin to the face.

Basically a free 8k power to a column, as long as you juggle replacement rear-guards well enough. Can’t go wrong with that.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  Considering that we overlooked and never did an animal week when the Zoo pack was released, I guess we’re going to compensate that by doing it this week, and today, it’s Binoculus Tiger 2.0…also known as Artistic Ocelot.  Ocelot has the same skill as Bino-Tiger, but it also has a second skill made specifically for Bigbelly in which it grants an extra 4K power to a rear-guard and an End Phase, draw and retire skill (or draw-tire for short).  This is specifically made to help get you to your Success skills as it’s a combined +8k power to a column.  The only drawback is that it’s made specifically for Bigbelly, so Chatnoir and the other Professors won’t be able to get the full benefits from this unless they Stride into the Bigbelly G Unit, but aside from that, this is still a good card to have for your pandas.
