Saikyo Cardfighter R So this is your first Stride in Luard decks now. And probably the only one save for cheese plays with Phantom Blaster Diablo for the Gyze matchup. Does it all really: doesn’t cost Counterblast, is a straight +2 overall, and when GB3 is online, it’s at least 10k to each column as long as you know what you’re doing resource-wise. Don’t count on this going any higher than 20k columns-wise though, even with Morfessa and Slaptail, it isn’t worth it. Still, if you want, you could try out Macha from the Legend Deck, she’ll enable more attacks combined with this, but that’s a bit winmore. It works. 3/5 |
What’s up, Rogue Squad?! To wrap up our week, it’s about time we look at the new G Unit for the corrupted Luard: Dragabyss. For most, if not all, Luard players, Dragabyss is your go-to first Stride, which says a lot considering that that honor went to Aurageyser Damned for the longest time, but for good reason. Dragabyss has a Soulblast cost, a small retire 1, a free double Grade 1 Superior Call and a free retire so long as the two cards you called are Ritual units (which is almost every non-trigger unit in the average Luard deck these days). Combine that with the GB3, which grants a +10k bonus to the front line for every 4 Grade 1’s in the Drop Zone, and that’s an guaranteed free 10k early game, an easily achievable +20k mid game, and even a possible +30k late game (I’ve personally done it multiple times, and it’s fun as hell to watch it happen when I pull it off). Luard has now grown into the fully grown dragon that he wanted to be, and by god, is it wonderful. Rating: 4/5 Artwork: 4/5 Next Time: We take a Sneak Peek under the sea to listen to some annoying Loli music… Go Rogue…Go Pro…and Fight the Meta!!! |
