I did want to include some sort of Dark Irregulars on my Top 10 somewhere, but then I realised any Dark Irregulars I put on this list could basically be summarised using one card regarding how much bullshit it is. So before we put the G Era to bed and this becomes considerably nerfed owing to free-er guard, more power from defensive triggers and meatier shields for Grade 1s and 0s, let’s just take a moment to appreciate (or rue the existence as appropriate) how much Dust truly brought the bullshit to Dark Zone. Great job. Now let’s just quietly lock these away in the drawer so we can move on to the more skilful format for fun people.

4/5

(For those of you who prefer things on the opposite ends of the spectrum, check this mess out for the Bottom 10 of the G Era)

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  Our #1 card for the G Era is the recently released Dust, and my god is Dust  hell of a card.  Dust is a good portion of a reason why Dark Irregulars, Gears, and even both Pale Moon and Spike Brothers became so daunting.  Force guard restrictions of not Grade 2’s along with G Guardians and forbidding intercepts is already pretty nice (especially with the already Guard Restricting DI’s), and once you add in that it forces all of your opponent’s units to be at Grade AND Power 1, then that’s just unfair…oh, and he can also deal a damage if an opponent isn’t at 4 or less…yeah, Standard is sounding really nice all of a sudden…
