Ah, the dreaded ‘call from hand’ clause. In Standard though, aside from lack of synergy with General Seifried Spike Brothers generally won’t call from the deck all that much, so if nothing else, think of this as the fastest way to generate plusses, albeit random ones. Sadly, it’s because it’s random that it hurts it slightly: unless you call two cards with it you’ll only +0 wash from the transaction, so if you fluff and get Grade 0s galore you’re losing out, although it shouldn’t happen THAT often as log as you shuffle enough and randomise the deck sufficiently.

Largely a staple simply for the plus opportunities, but RNG may hurt at times.
