Hello Pojo Fans,

Adamancipator Risen – Dragite finishes the week as the only Synchro from the archetype that we’ll be looking at this week.

Level 8 and generic requirements, Dragite is the powerhouse Synchro for the archetype. Compulsory Evacuation Device/Giant Trunade to your opponent is devastating. Non-destruction field removal of monsters from the Extra Deck along with clearing away spell/trap cards for the turn. The more cards you have to spin back, the harder you’d think it would be to deal with them all with Dragite, but with cards like Adamancipator Laputite and so many others that stack your deck the way you want, you may get a plus five off the excavation. As long as you plan out how many cards you have to deal with using Dragite before setting the plays in motion to summon it, you should always be successful. With the Field Spell Dragite turns into a 3500 beatstick that can do that spin ability each turn, and that Field Spell stack effect can be done each turn, making those two cards a daunting duo. Even spot removal, a simple 1-for-1 is good. One per turn negation ability as long as you have a WATER monster in the grave gives the archetype much-needed negation in monster form. Getting Crystal – Dragite into the grave for the Synchro of this card is absolutely a necessity. Analyzer is also a WATER, but the plus off Crystal – Dragite is too important to the flow of the deck, but having two different WATER monsters that can fuel this negation improves the odds of you controlling things.

Adamancipator Risen – Dragite could find itself into decks like Mermail and Deep Sea Diva for its negation ability, but it works best within its archetype due to that bounce ability. Excavation of cards can often be risky, but with Adamancipators ability to stack, it is hardly a risk.

We end Adamancipator Week with one of the Synchro bosses for the archetype, as well as an option for anything WATER-related: Adamancipator Risen – Dragite.

Dragite here is a Level 8 WATER Rock Synchro with 3000 ATK and 2200 DEF. Outstanding stats on a Level 8, WATER is a decent Attribute and Rock has the good support now. The summoning requirements are any Tuner and any non-Tuner(s), which makes this for generic use in anything that can get value from it. Its first effect is during your Main Phase to excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck to return cards the opponent controls to the hand up to the number of Rocks you excavated off this effect, then the excavated cards go to the bottom of the Deck. This is a really powerful effect for Rocks, especially if you’re playing enough of them. You can easily get multiple bounces off this more times than not, and the potential for 5 bounces is scary if the opponent has 5 cards. No targeting either, which is super good. The second effect is a Quick Effect when the opponent activates a Spell/Trap card or effect while you have a WATER in your grave, where Dragite negates and destroys the Spell/Trap. Free Spell/Trap negation is very good, especially considering how strong Spells and Traps can be. You can negate an Evenly Matched, Infinite Impermanence, Monster Reborn, Invocation, Eldlixir, Golden Land, Adamancipator Signs, or the Onomato Spells just to name some cards. It still loses to Dark Ruler No More, but all monsters do now. All you need is a WATER in grave, which is easy when you Link away a Halqifibrax or use the Crystal – Dragite as Synchro Material. Mermail/Atlantean can use this for the negation as well since the whole archetype is WATER and they got a great boost with the Deep Sea cards. Dragite is a great Synchro for Rocks, a great Synchro for WATER, and an outstanding Synchro for Adamancpiator. You want to play this.

Advanced Rating: 4.75/5

Art: 5/5 Nice to see Analyzer got Dragite out of the Rock, less boring that way.

Closing the week, and something I’m sure y’all saw coming, is Admancipator Risen-Dragite.  Level 8 Synchro, Water/Rock, great 3000 attack (2200 defense) and Synchro Summoned with a Tuner and 1+ non Tuners.

So back to Excavating, during your Main Phase you can do your top 5 cards and return cards your opponent controls equal to the Rock Momsters Excavated by this Effect back to their Hand.

This is a modified Trishula effect, but better in my opinion.  The cards Excavated are returned to the bottom of your Deck in any order.  Last is a negate/destroy Quick Effect.

If your opponent activates a Magic/Trap and you have a Water Monster in your Graveyards you can negate said card effect and destroy it.  You’re still vulnerable to Monster effects however.

But that’s about it.  At 3000 attack, it shouldn’t often be taken down in Battle.  Each effect here is once per turn.  This works great in the Theme.  It’s powerful, has some negation, and is great overall.

Art:  5/5  It’s definitely a Dragon, but the Water and Crystal aspects are well represented.
