The Chaos Creator
– #TOCH-EN006
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY. If you control this card that was Special Summoned from the hand: You can target 3 banished monsters with different names; Special Summon 1 of them, then place the rest on the bottom of the Deck in any order. You can only use this effect of “The Chaos Creator” once per turn.

King of Lullaby Hello Pojo Fans, The Chaos Creator wraps up CoTD this week, the third incarnation, after The Dark Creator and the original The Creator. TCC is the easiest of the three “Creator” monsters to summon, the original not able to be Special Summoned from the grave and TDC needing five or more DARK in the grave, TCC needs only the classical LIGHT and DARK removal. Cycling back two banished monsters and ensuring you won’t draw them immediately gets you back resources and the monster you choose to Special Summon will get you advantages depending on which you choose. The effect isn’t applicable if you have the same monsters banished, but you hardly run into a moment where you’ll have less than three monsters with different names banished. TCC is one of the easiest ways to get a boss monsters Special Summoned. As long as you have at least one banished monster when you summon TCC, just banish your targets, Special Summon TCC and bring back your choice monster. DARK and Level 8 makes for TCC being good fodder to get through your deck. Chaos Space searches out TCC and partially sets up your grave to summon TCC. It being a Thunder monster plays into Chaos Space (you will rarely be sending another Thunder monster to the grave with Chaos Space). TCC is splashable in any deck that runs LIGHT or DARK monsters. Thunder Dragons, Fairy, Shaddolls, and Lightsworn could be some of the decks that would benefit from using this card. A widely splashable card that can really grant you an advantage that is easy to summon, nothing bad about it. Advanced-4/5 Art-4/5 Until Next Time |
Crunch$G We end the week off with a new retrain of the classic Creator, The Chaos Creator. Chaos Creator is a Level 8 DARK Thunder with 2300 ATK and 3000 DEF. Solid stats once again, but mostly with a great DEF, DARK is a good Attribute, and Thunder at least has synergy with Thunder Dragons alongside the other Chaos stuff. All still based off the original Creator, which is fine. It cannot be Normal Summoned or Set and must first be Special Summoned from the hand by banishing a LIGHT and DARK monster from the graveyard. Still a very easy summoning condition. This one has more use than Daedalus had a few days ago where if this was Special Summoned from the hand, you can target 3 banished monsters with different names for you to Special Summon one of them and the other two return to the bottom of the Deck in any order. A great, easy way to get another body on board while also putting some key monsters back into the Deck. It works well with Destiny HERO – Malicious to get a copy back in Deck to use the other in grave to summon it once again. You also got the nice versatility of targeting your opponent’s cards, though you’d only want to put back cards that would brick their hand. Banishing is easy for Chaos themes, especially with this banishing 2, so it should be easy to use the effect. Sucks you have to summon it from hand to use the effect, but it’s a fine little balance in the case you’d revive it. It’s also a hard once per turn, mostly to balance the amount of free bodies you put on field. It’s a great card for Chaos themes, especially Thunder Dragon beyond just it being Thunder. It’s searchable as well, so it’s a worthwhile addition to anything Chaos-based. Advanced Rating: 4.25/5 Art: 4/5 Kinda still like the original Creator better, but the color scheme here is great and kind of on par with The Dark Creator. |
Alex Searcy The Chaos Creator, because apparently the original and his Dark version weren’t enough, is how we close the week. Level 8, Dark/Thunder (how does that work exactly?) and 2300/3000. All of that is good to start.
Special Summon only today via removing a Light and Dark from your Graveyard from play. Nothing against a 2300 hitting the Field that easily. Honestly I don’t feel this guy is as good as the original or his original Dark counterpart.
The original let’s you Special Summon from the Grave every turn. Although he can’t be Special Summoned. Dark Creator has a higher Summoning criteria but also is better with Summoning and can be done multiple times.
This guy nets you a Special Summon upon his own and cycles two other cards back to the bottom of your Deck. 2300 attack isn’t hard to run over and his effect only works once. (The 3000 defense helps though).
I do like your Special Summon is a removed Monster and I also like the other two cards returned were removed, but I’d definitely use Dark Creator (or even the original) before I’d use this.
Rating: 3/5
Art: 5/5 The gold on the original is best but I love the blue body on this Creator. The background offsets and compliments it quite well.
