Hello Pojo Fans,

Frightfur Repair cycles back and Special Summons for no cost.

A simple and powerful card for the archetype. Cycle back a Frightfur Fusion Monster and get a Fluffal to the field for your trouble. If you don’t want a Fluffal or don’t have one, get an Edge Imp.Off either Special Summon from the grave or you hand you will benefit from most Fluffal monsters effects upon Normal or Special Summon, netting you advantage that will be immediately used. The downsides to this simple card are dependency and speed though. One effect per turn isn’t what you want to see on a card, and being dependent on your grave makes this card not one you want to see in the opening hand. Given, the way Frightfur/Fluffal swarm this card can be live quickly, you would like to keep your Frightfur on the field as long as possible. It is a great response card to one of your Frightfur monsters being destroyed, but again, both effects are what you want to use, not just one a turn.

Frightfur Repair can be quite the offensive card, but it isn’t one you always want to see. Frightfur can OTK and with Scythe your Frightfurs may live longer. You aren’t going to link away a Frightfur just to use this card, so all in all this card is alright, but not great.

Next up we got a nice little Spell for Fluffals to extend their plays while recycling their Fusions: Frightfur Repair.

Repair is a Normal Spell that on activation lets you take a Frightfur Fusion from your graveyard and return it to the Extra Deck to then let you Special Summon a Fluffal or Edge Imp from the graveyard. The only real negative here is that reviving a Fluffal Dog won’t get you its search effect since it has to be summoned from hand, but there’s still good Fluffals to revive. Penguin’s effect to summon from hand isn’t a hard once per turn last I checked, so there’s a way to summon Dog for free. At worst you’re just getting another Fusion, Xyz, or Link Material for plays while recycling a Frightfur to try and Fusion Summon again later. The second effect lets you banish this card from the graveyard to summon any Fluffal or Edge Imp from your hand, which here at least helps you trigger Fluffal Dog, though it’d been nice again here if it could summon from hand or graveyard, especially after you consider you can only use 1 of this card’s effects a turn, which it honestly would of been fine if each effect was a hard once per turn and you could use both. Either way it’s a fine card that’s searchable and can be dumped from Deck to grave easily with cards you’re likely were trying to already use to dump Toy Vendor or Friday’s new Fusion, it’s fine as a 1-of.

Frightfur Repair is a Normal Magic for midweek.  This takes a fun and fairly different spin on Special Summoning where you Target a Frightfur Fusion from your Graveyard, return it to your Extra Deck, and then you Special Summon a Fluffal or Edge Imp from your Grave.  Trading in one Monster for a different kind is unique, and it can still be another Fusion or Extra Deck Monster.  This is obviously super dependent on what you have in your Graveyard at the time.  Which works for and against.  The removal mechanic is still in play as well, here by doing so, you can Special Summon a Fluffal or Edge Imp from your Hand.  The only downside here is you can only use one of these effects per turn.  Which I understand, given that being able to get 2 Special Summons of the same card in one turn would be a bit much.  But you can play two in one turn to get each effect (but not a third as each is once per turn).

Art:  4/5  This gives off some creepy Toy Story 4 toy shop vibes.  Very Halloween appropriate.
