Saikyo Cardfighter R Man, I remember when I rather unkind to it when I last reviewed it. Since then it aged well, getting another G-Unit a player can drop before this and the concept of G Guardians being introduced to make this considerably less dead. After that, if you can spare the Counterblast, you’re looking at a lock, a Delete, and a Vanish Delete several times more, but Aodeien’s column forming might be a bit more relevant to your needs unless you have outside help like Igala. Still has some issues like the token insta-win being too impractical, cannot lock attackers and is a -1 every time, but is now actually practical and worth running at last. 3/5 |
Aruku Delete on a Stride was Deletor’s wet dream. WAS. Now, it’s GR status is nowhere near the new stride. It’s still a good card, don’t get me wrong;plus it still has a pretty cheap costed delete. But the 13 Banish Delete rarely to never occurs. Just use this when you run out of the good stride, or better yet, use it for a shiny G-Assist. 3.5/5 |
What’s up, Rogue Squad?! So after looking at the new Deletor Stride earlier today, for Throwback Thursday, let’s have a look at the old one. Egorg…Egorg…Egorg…you once were worth half the price you are now, but now, to be honest, you’ve been overshadowed. Not saying that this is a bad card at all, but it’s just that Aodaien does Egorg’s job for cheaper and better. The only thing that Egorg has over Aodaien is the lock and a potential win condition that is annoyingly hard to accomplish even with the extra Vanish Delete support. The only reason people really hunt for this card (aside from reselling for a profit) is because it’s the only other G unit that Deletors have that’s not a G guardian. If you want to play him, then only get 1-2 copies…if you can even afford its ridiculous $60-80 price tag. Rating: 3/5 Price: 1/5 (Seriously…$30 tops) Artwork: 4/5 (Still a pretty nice card) Next Time: But striding undeletes me…about that…
