Hello Pojo Fans,

SolSolfachord Gracia is all about spell/trap stuff.

Level 5 and Level 5 stats, Gracia has a scale of 4. As a scale, Gracia is a searcher for archetype spell/trap cards. As a monster, Gracia gets you any Solfachord spell/trap off her Normal or Special Summon, much like Cutia did for monsters. As a Level 5 you will be Special Summoning her off of a Pendulum Summon most of the time. Elegance or Harmonia will be the two most searched spells. Elegance is a direct route to filling your Pendulum Zone while Harmonia is your Field Spell that can be a searcher or a destroyer. For traps, Musica and Formal need your Pendulum Zones to have cards in them to be useful, so its best to search them after you’ve established at least one scale. Musica offers either a Special Summon or a 1-for-1 with your opponent if you have a completed scale, while Formal is your Counter Trap but offers protection instead of removal/negation. When Solfachord monsters attack, Gracia is the Ancient Gear Golem, stopping spell/trap cards until the end of the Damage Step. Battle Traps aren’t played much anymore, but this effect allows for swarming without fear.

As a spell, Gracia locks out spell/trap cards from being played when you Pendulum Summon your Solfachord monster(s). No Warning, Strike, or Impermanence for your opponent, so any Normal or Special Summoned effects are going to go through.

More ATK/DEF than yesterday’s card, same style of protection, a bit more useful though. Since you’ll be Pendulum Summoning Gracia nearly all the time, your scales will be set up for the traps you’d search with her, but those spells can be beneficial.

We come to one of the Solfachords in the middle of the Scale and Level line now as we reach SolSolfachord Gracia, which sounds redundant at the beginning even if it matches the theming of notes.

Gracia in in the Pendulum Scale is a scale 4 with the effect to prevent the opponent from activating Spell/Trap Card or monster effects when your Solfachord Pendulums are Pendulum Summoned, going well with the higher scale Solfachords preventing the Pendulum Summons from being negated and guarantees your Pendulum Summon is safe basically. A 4 scale isn’t the best thing to put in the scale, especially in this archetype, but it might be necessary at times.

Gracia as a monster is a Level 5 WATER Fairy with 2100 ATK and 1400 DEF. Okayish stats for Level 5, Fairy is fun, and WATER has some options as well. While you have an even Pendulum Scale in the Pendulum Zone, if your Solfachord Pendulums attack, the opponent cannot activate monster effects until the end of the damage step. Nice little mini-Ancient Gear effect to lock down monster effects to help your attacks go through. The second effect is a HOPT on summon and is another searcher, except this time it’s for the archetype’s Spells and Traps. Your best targets are probably Harmonia to help your Pendulum shenanigans, Elegance to cycle your Pendulums as needed, and Musica to either summon your Pendulums back or act as disruption depending on the Pendulum Scales you control. Either way, a Spell/Trap searcher is good for an archetype, even if it’s on a Level 5, meaning it can’t be a free Normal Summon. Gracia still has uses in the Deck as the Spells and Traps are decent, just too bad you mainly got to use your Pendulum Summon to get to them.

Art: 5/5 I like her, even if she might end up wasting a potential Lost Art in the future, lol.

From Do to Sol(Sol) here’s SolSolfachord Gracia.  Water/Fairy today, still an odd combination, Level 5 and 2100 attack isn’t so great.  Not is her Pendulum scale of 4, but there’s certainly worse than that too.  The Pendulum Effect here is tweaked from yesterday where your opponent here can’t activate a Magic/Trap Card or Monster Effect when you Pendulum Summon in the Theme.  This should ensure that your Effects upon Pendulum Summons get off upon their Summons, so it’s still a really nice thing to see here.  On the Monster side, again based on having an Even Pendulum Scale present for the player, your opponent can’t activate Monster effects until the End of the Damage Step when your Theme Pendulums attack.  This is fun, you’re still vulnerable to the after effects (literally and figuratively) but still locking out one type of Effect there is a useful ability without question.  Also, similar to yesterday, a Normal or Special Summon of this nets you a Theme Magic/Trap from your Deck.  Free resource off Summoning (and not being limited to Normal Summons again, YAY!) is always welcome too.  Similar to, but different enough, to be a bit better and bigger player for these guys I think.

Art:  3.5/5  Nothing here is not…pretty, just…bland and still kinda lazy to me.
