Saikyo Cardfighter R Number 2 on the list basically made it for the same reasons Sunshine Vert made it on last year’s list, so substitute fanservice with dragons (although I guess Seto Kaiba would consider both to be synonymous with each other) and you’ve basically got all the good points about Zeigenburg. Blademaster had nothing to show for it and even with Mubdi it probably wouldn’t have caught too many eyes. Then along came the glorious motherfucker that is Zeigenburg to rescue Blademaster from the crap-heap by giving it the long-awaited generic re-standing Vanguard. Ignore the fact his name’s German for “Goat Castle”, pick this up. 4/5 |
What’s up, Rogue Squad?! So, you wanna know what’s really as free of an effect as you can get in this game (I mean, aside from yesterday’s card because she was pretty free herself)? One Counterblast at GB3 when the opponent has no rear guards to restand your Vanguard while you’re using a deck whose specialty is destroying said rear-guards. Seriously, Zeigenburg is a very simple and easy card to use, not to mention a potential 4 times to restand if you just ignore using Zeigenburg’s first skill each time, but even its first skill is good as it lets you retire a RG and give Zeigen +3k. Kagero decks really love to use and abuse this, and for good reason. It has a cheap cost, its effects are great and it’s arguably the best G Unit that came out this year (note that I said best G Unit and not best card…that comes tomorrow). Rating: 4.5/5 Artwork: 5/5 (Especially the SP art) Next Time: To quote one of my favorite PokéTubers, ShadyPenguin: IT’S A CRIT!!! Go Rogue…Go Pro…and Top the Meta!!! |
