During the Main Phase: Target 1 Xyz Monster Card you control or in your GY; Special Summon 2 “Chronomaly” monsters that are 1 Level higher than that monster’s Rank, from your hand, Deck, and/or GY, but negate their effects, then, immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 “Chronomaly” Xyz Monster using only those 2 monsters. You can only activate 1 “Chronomaly Esperanza Glyph” per turn.

Chronomaly Esperanza Glpyh is an offensive trap that makes sure you have a monster on the field.
Only usable in the Main Phase, only needing an Xyz Monster on the field or the grave to Special summon two Chronomaly monsters from the deck or grave. Doesn’t matter that the Levels have to be 1 Level higher than the Rank, doesn’t matter that it’s in the Main Phase, doesn’t matter that their effects are negated, because you are immediately getting an Xyz Summon and that monster’s effect(s) will be online. Chronomaly Xyz Summon, that is what they do, so they will have an Xyz available for you to target. The highest Level a Main Deck Chronomaly monster has is 6, so that would limit you to an Xyz 5 monster. This card will be used almost in its entirety to Xyz Summon either of your two Rank 5’s or your Rank 6. To get to your Rank 5’s you’ll have to have a Rank 4 in your grave, and Chronomaly only run one within the archetype so one or two will have to be teched in to use this to get to your Rank 5.
A cost-free way to thin the deck and get an Xyz Summon during either Main Phase makes this a great card for the archetype. Easy restrictions to work within and gets you to monsters you can always cycle back later.

From Spell to Trap we get another way to help summon your Chronomaly Xyzs: Chronomaly Esperanza Glyph.
Esperanza Glyph is a Normal Trap that can only be used during the Main Phase, where you can then target any Xyz Monster you control or in your graveyard to Sepcial Summon 2 Chronomaly monsters from hand, Deck, or graveyard that are 1 Level higher than the monster’s Rank with their effects negated, then you immediately Xyz Summon a Chronomaly Xyz using the monsters you just summoned as material. Nice way to try and fill the board with more Chronomaly Xyzs. It could pull off the Machu Mech OTK by targeting a Chateau Huyuk you control that can still use its effect, but being a Trap makes you have to wait a turn. Would of been better as a Quick-Play Spell, but I guess we don’t want the Machu Mech OTK being everywhere. Targeting a Rank 3 in Chronomaly like Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut or Gorgonic Guardian only gets you to Number 36, so you’d rather make a Rank 4 to go into Rank 5 and get the new boss monster. It could at least also target a Rank 5 to get you to Number 6, but the archetype only has 1 Level 6 monster that isn’t worth the effort to use. Hard once per turn on this card, no Xyz Spam. Either way, I’d still say it’s a good card to play. It helps the Deck get more of their Xyzs out since they average on 1 Xyz a turn usually without a really good hand. Searchable helps as well.

From Magic to Trap, here is Chronomaly Esperanza Glyph. This is a Normal Trap, allowing the player to Target an XYZ Monster of their Control or in your Grave (we always appreciate options) and Special Summon 2 Chronomalies (rolling with that spelling) that are a Level higher than your Target. Effects are negated, but that’s irrelevant, as they’re immediately XYZ Summoned into a Theme Monster upon Effect resolution of this. You are only allowed to use those two Monsters in your XYZ Summon, and you can only use one of these a Turn. Which makes sense, otherwise, you could just as easily drop 3 XYZ all in one turn just off the three cards. Anyway, this ends up being a breakeven, that can turn into more. You get two Monsters off one card, but are left with one, and still having to activate this. But it’s still a nice way to break out of your Extra Deck with just one card. This card, like Monday, can get better as well, if the card pool continues to grow.

Art: Esperanza means hope, so that makes this Chronomaly Hope Glyph. I have no idea how much, if anything, on that glyph has to do with hope, but I like what I see here well enough. 3.5/5
