Reviews Below:
Ancient Copper Dragon’s established itself as the set’s “chase card”, and it’s not hard to see why, because that is a lot of Treasure to amass with a swing. It’s the cheapest (and smallest) of the metal dragons, but that can play to its advantage by preparing its dive bombing sooner, and a high roll will break a game open immediately with a massive amount of mana/artifact tokens. This definitely has legs as a massive enabler and a combo piece, and being in the Dragon Color means you’ll be able to support this a lot better. It’s pretty pointless in Legacy, as there’s at least sixty-nine ways to keep Ancient Copper Dragon from swooping successfully, but this is a strong card to ensure your opponents know that swooping is, always has been, and always will be bad.

Commander [EDH]: 4.5 (swoop once, get off to the races)
Ancient Copper Dragon fits into the “mega-ramp” category we see occasionally, mainly in Commander-focused sets. Even the median results for the D20 roll will likely be win-more in most one-on-one settings (you start to find more Treasure than you have things to spend it on), but it’s hard to ramp too much or cast too few spells or too small spells in many Commander contexts. Besides that, treasure is still one of the best recent additions to red’s arsenal, synergizing with everything from death triggers to artifact-matters cards.
