Therion Irregular – #POTE-EN009
You can target up to 3 “Therion” monsters in your GY; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, equip them to this card. You can discard 1 “Endless Engine Argyro System”; destroy all cards your opponent controls. While this card is equipped to a monster: You can Special Summon this card, then equip the monster this card was equipped to, to this card. You can only use each effect of “Therion Irregular” once per turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Therion Irregular wraps up the week and while not directly involved with the Albaz storyline, does have some involvement in the side story.
The counterpart to the “King” Regulus, Irregular can Special Summon itself as long as you have a Therion monster in the grave, though it is worth targeting up to three with his effect. Having multiple Therion monsters equipped with give Irregular up to a 2100ATK boost and allow it to use each of the equipped Therion monsters second effects. Doing so gives you a 3700ATK beater that could:
Spot removal 1-for-1 (Therion “Bull” Ain)
Card effect destruction protection (Therion “Duke” Yul)
Monster negation power (“King” Regulus)
Bounce power on your opponent’s turn (Therion “Reaper” Fum)
1-for-1 Therion Spell/Trap search (Therion “Lily” Borea)
Special Summon power of an attached Therion (Therion “Empress” Alasia)
Sorry for the list but with up to three attached Therion monsters on him just off his Special Summon, the list was warranted.
Irregular can do the equip thing like all the other Therion monsters, however it won’t give that Therion a 700ATK boost. He doesn’t give any boost, he can Special Summon himself and then equip the monster he was equipped to to himself. Doing this doesn’t give him much ATK, but it would be an easy way to Special Summon him.
You won’t be getting him out first turn, but in the mid-game or even late-game Irregular is a game-ending card. So much can be done with him when you maximize his potential off his first effect it would be a waste to use his second effect as a way to summon him.
Advanced-3/5- he’s only as good as the Therion monsters attached to him. The more the merrier.

The week ends off with the big, bad boss of the Therion archetype: Therion Irregular.
Irregular is a Level 10 DARK Machine with 1600 ATK and 2800 DEF. ATK is pretty low for a Level 10, but a good DEF stat at least alongside DARK and Machine. First effect lets you target up to 3 Therion monsters in your graveyard to Special Summon this card from the grave and equip the targeted cards to this, so you can probably get a 2100 ATK boost off the 3 Therions, making this 3700 ATK, alongside whatever effects the Therions will pass onto this. Second effect lets you discard an Endless Engine Argyro System to destroy all cards the opponent controls, which is pretty good even if it requires you to get an pretty much unsearchable card in your hand, but you still got ways to get Argyro System in grave to recover it off its own effect. Finally, while this is equipped to a monster, you can Special Summon this and equip the monster this was equipped to onto himself in exchange, which I guess is useful if you really need Irregular’s traits over whatever monster had this as an equip. Each effect is a hard once per turn, which is fine. Irregular does feel like the boss monster of the Therion archetype, despite low initial ATK. Probably not going to be ran in the Therion engine, but more pure Therion Decks will probably give this a look.

Closing the week is a beast of a Monster here, in Therion Irregular. Dark/Machine are just sexy together, Level 10 (Extra Deck plays, trains, perhaps?) though rather meh stats at 1600/2800 (especially for Level 10). Works around needing Tributes by Targeting 3 Theme Monsters in your Grave to be Special Summoned (from your Hand) and your Targeted Monsters attach themselves to this card. Good there on both fronts. You could easily drop this Turn 1, making it quite fast, too. Discarding ‘Endless Engine Argyro System’ nukes your opponent’s Field. You read that correctly, and blowing up your opponent’s Field, especially at the cost of a lone card, (even a specific one) is just wrong. (The right kind of wrong, of course, lol). Then it plays Equip cycle where it can un-Equip itself from what it is to, and that card Equips itself to this. Irregular enough, and fitting all too well with its own Theme as well. The only real problem here is the lack of protection. But it can spend time as an attachment (see what I did there) and cycle in and out as necessary, so IT isn’t quite as vulnerable as it may initially seem. It’s been a GREAT week y’all, didn’t score below a 4 all 5 days.

Art: 5/5 That action pose, along with how big Therion is, and just the color/contrast here on man-beast and background are AMAZING. The art week may have even scored higher than the card scores this week.
