Almost every set nowadays gets a variant on red’s “impulsive draw” ability, and I guess it makes sense that an Un-set’s variant would use a mechanic that started in a different Un-set. Of course, you’re now able to roll dice in all sorts of different sets and formats beyond those, and while most of those haven’t made much impact in the constructed formats where this will be legal, you can use it elsewhere to turn them into an incremental advantage engine that might even give peak Jund something to worry about. Not only do Attractions let you roll dice at least once a turn, but Sword of Dungeons and Dragons applies massive pressure on its own, much less with this – and that’s just the beginning!

Depending on the efficacy of dice rolling in various formats, Priority Boarding is a potentially powerful little way to keep milking your dice rolls for card advantage. While you’re not guaranteed to get a free card, lands will always be valid targets, so you can count on a potential land to play a third of the time or so, and you can always make use of things like attractions and the various dice rolls in sets like Adventures in the Forgotten Realms (which roll d20s, which will hit any card you might reveal if you get high enough). Being confined to Legacy means you’re not terribly likely to make this pop there…unless attractions make themselves a force in the format, which I don’t think I’d count on. But this is a fun way to get a bit more out of all your various spells, which pays off in a longer game.
