I was hoping you could give me the ruling
on the American Non-Holo Dark Vileplume. With the misprint of the
weakness, do we go by what is on the card, or by what the weakness is supposed
to be. Seems confusing when the holo is weak to fire, but the non-holo
is weak to fighting. Also, there are times when someone will have a
non-holo card in play(any pokemon) and once they get a Holo in their hand they
will switch them out(for luck or whatever reason they have). Doing this
with the dark vileplumes if you go by what the card says, could actually be
unfair to their opponent. If you could clear this up it would be
appreciated.
Thanks,

This was a goof on WotC's part. It is also a goof that will receive
no errata or correction. So, if you play with the Holo version, you are
weak to Fire. If you play the non-Holo, you are weak to Fighting.
That simple. By the rules, you may NOT switch out cards once they are on
the board. You CAN force an opponent to not do that, especially with this
misprint.
