When I used rainbow energy's in my deck it aroused some questions.  I had
more than 4 Rainbow energys in my deck.  I had eight that I got from
boosters.  My friend said that it is not a basic energy.  He also said that
it does 10 damage each turn for every Rainbow energy on your pokemon.  And
can you use Rainbow energy's for Pokemon Powers like Blastioses Rain Dance
and Venusaurs Energy Trans?
With this card coming out at the end of April in American I am curios to find
out.

Your friend is right, straight across the board.  It's not basic (limited to 4), it does do 10 damage, and it CAN be used for Rain Dance, Energy Trans, and the like...
