Sorry for not revealing my name.
Hi pojo,
i have this question that cropped up during a tourney,
the scenerio was like this,
my opponent has 2 Scys in play,
both with one energy,
he used one of them to Swords Dance,
i energy removaled him,
but during his turn,
he sent out the other Scy,
attach a DCE,
and slash for 60,
we called for the judge and he said it was true.
Does Swords Dance afects all Scyther during your next
turn because they are all named Scyther?
Or does it only affects the Scy that Swords Danced.
Thank you for your time.

The funny thing is that it does not matter whether or not it affects all
Scythers. Once the first Scyther goes to the bench, it ends all effects of
his attack, including Swords Dance. So, even if it DID effect the other
Scyther, then Swords Dance would be turned off and the base slash would go back
to 30. To answer your question, though, no - it does NOT affect all
Scythers. If it did, when one Chansey Double-Edged, all Chanseys in play
would take 80, which is obviously wrong.
