Here's one of the Q&As that you have posted
"hi i was wondering if scyther does swords dance and i gust of wind him
and my and the person I'm bailing brings him back out does swords dance
still work? please answer me back because this same thing happened to me.
"Going to the bench will end all effects of attacks". Scyther
loses Swords
dance."
I haven't done this personally in the actual card game but in the Gameboy
version (where I assume they use the same rules) going to the bench does not
effect Scyther's Swords Dance. I have done this several times so I know this
works. Even reading Scyther's card verifies it. It says "During your next
turn". It doesn't depend on anything else. I notice it depends on what
Pokemon is "effected" when the benching is done. Benching is specific
to each
power, it's not just a universal rule. Some powers affect just the two active
ones (like Leer), some affect only the defending one (like smokescreen), and
some affect only the attacking one (like Swords Dance). Again, I don't know
if Wizards will amend this or what but in the Gameboy version these rules
apply. Maybe there should be a separate section for the physical card game
and the GB game boy game.
The Game Boy has QUITE a few errors in it, the Swords Dance being one of
them. People, please do NOT use the Game Boy as the rules bible, as a good
number of the rulings in it are incorrect.
