hi,This this came up in a tourney once,i played 3 pluspowers on my electabuzz
and flipped tails,my opponeat said that i take 40 damage because i had plus
powers attached to it and that i take 10 + 30 ,i called over the judge and he
said my oppeneat was right,is this true??

This is absolutely wrong.  It is also an error in the Game Boy game.  PlusPower states that is will deal damage to the DEFENDING Pokemon, and states nothing of the active if it self-damages.
