Today's Card of the Day is Deoxys EX from the Deoxys Set (Attack) 97/107 Retreat Cost: A retreat cost of 1 is pretty cheap easy to pay. Hit Points: It only has 110 hit points which is kinda low for an EX but it is only a basic and most basic EX's you see have between 90-110 hit points so its on the higher end of the range. Poke-Power(Form Change): The power lets you swich Deoxys EX with any other Deoxys EX in your deck which can really come in handy so instead of having only one Deoxys EX with one attack you have a choice of three with three different attacks so you can choose which one will help you the most in the situation your in. Attack 1(PCC) Psyburst [50+]: Three energy for a solid 50, plus you can discard two energy and hit for an addtional 20 damage for each energy attached to the defending pokemon not to bad for a basic. Summary: I think Deoxys in a deck by itself is to slow and does not have enough support to compete in the current environment. You might see this card in a Psychic deck as support or another attacker but I don't think it will be played very much and will be rarely seen in competitive play.
