Sadly, this card will never see unlimited play. Ok, so
it’s got a (sort of) energy removal type poke-body when
it is attacked, but add to it needing 3 energy AND all
being different types… in such a diverse environment
with energy removal… its just not worth even trying

Oh, I remember the genesis lugia… beign a rogue player
myself.. I personally loved that card and made many the
decks with it! This card is just as great, with an
AWESOME amount of damage for 3 energy. Hey, you need 3
different energy types, but try combining it with Unown
Q and/or rocket returns Yanma. Both can quick charge,
and don’t forget lady outing (you get the idea…) Very
nice to see it has a different weakness (as I expected
it to have colourless weakness) and having a resistance
is great too. Biggest (obvious) obvious drawback is that
it is an EX and only has 100HP. But, unlike the genesis
version Lugia EX only has 1 reatreat. Allowing it to
elemental blast and then retreat if necessary. I doubt
this will see any serious play, but I will certainly
have fun playing with it ;)

Combined with the prize-every-3-turns attack and its
disrupting poke-body… Lugia EX should do you proud
Just before it is about to be KO’d retreat and fight
with something else. Heck, you could even use it as a
wall whilst powering up your bench.
