LICKITUNG D:
Modified:
With so many popular Delta decks, Lickitung d can put your
opponent in a bad
situation as soon as they bench their first few basics.
Lickitung d works most effectively when you open with it,
because you give your opponent less time to evolve their
basics.
In the event that your opponent has no Delta Pokemon, Lap Up
is an extremely
effective attack to use to get set up.
Overall, Lickitung d is a solid opener. However, Holon's
Castform will end up being a superior opener in decks
focused on multiple Delta Pokemon.
Modified: 4/5
Unlimited:
You will see very few Delta Pokemon here, if any. If you
want to draw cards
to set up, use Neo: Genesis Cleffa.
Unlimited: 1/5
Limited:
Expect to see a lot of delta Pokemon here. Combined with Lap
up, Lickitung is an absolute beast, especially if you open
with it.
Limited: 5/5

Lickitung d
Another card that was MADE to dominate in pre-releases.
Pretty solid opener. For 1 energy, it can either draw 2
cards, or hit a Delta Pokemon for 30. I actually almost got
turn 2ed by this thing at a CC.
Unlimited: 1/5
Quite inferior to Cleffa
Modified: 3/5
Not bad here. You can really mess with a Holon deck early by
spreading out some damage. Drawing 2 for 1 isn’t bad either.
Limited: 5/5
Amazing card at a pre-release. Drawing cards is insanely
good, and 30 to ANYTHING for 1 energy is amazing as well.

My reviews
and ratings are for Modified only.
Lickitung delta
Modified 4/5 - Delta Pokemon are everywhere, and 1 Psychic
Energy for essentially 30 damage on any Delta Pokemon is
unbelievably broken.
Combine this with a Pokemon that's good at spreading damage
(maybe Flygon ex d?) and you will be dominating your opponents.
Even though you may not like this card vs. non-Delta decks, the
risk vs. reward ratio is definitely in your favor.

Lickitung has use as a Pokémon to help you set up, but
other Pokémon allow you to draw cards, so its value is
limited. Cleffa [N1], Cleffa [UF], Dunsparce [LM],
Holon’s Castform, and Jirachi [DX] are usually better to
start with. Lickitung’s second attack can be very
helpful, as you can put damage counters on any Pokémon
(and maybe OHKO Feebas [DF] :) ).
Unlimited: δ Pokémon are almost never seen here. Drawing
2 cards with an attack is sorry. 1/5
Modified: Fair HP, weakness and energy requirements.
This may be a good tech in any deck. 2.8/5
Limited: Lots of δ Pokémon in DF. Being able to draw two
cards in a format with little draw trainers available is
lovely. 4.9/5

Lickitung
Lickitung is one of the sweetest cards from Dragon
Frontiers and might be one of the most overlooked. This
is a great pokemon to start out with because it can draw
2 cards on the first turn. Also it can put one damage
counter on one of your opponents pokemon however, if its
a delta pokemon you can put 3 damage counters on it
instead. That is absolutely brutal if your opponent
plays a delta deck and you start with Lickitung and go
first.

My name is Lickitung
I’m not hard to find
I put 3 damage on δ
With my Delta Mind
Unlimited: Again no Delta so and for the Draw we have
better Pokemon.
Rating : 1/5
Modified: Even though there are many Delta decks out
there in Modified this can be KO’ed
so easily it’s not worth of playing this card here.
Rating : 1/5
Limited: >_< this can screw up you opponent so good from
early game on. I mean you can choose to draw or to do 30
on almost all Pokemon in the set. As you can see this
thing was made for Limited.
