Wailord LM
Modified 2/5 - I think it's great for casual play, but for
competitive play, I think it falls a bit short. 4 Energies for a
Mediocre attack isn't too hot.

Wailord (Legend Maker)
Wailord is a semi-decent card with average attacks and a pretty
good Poke-Body. It has a good amount of Hit Points the very bad
weakness to lightning and 4 retreat cost which the Poke-Body
takes care of. This card is fun for casual play and in the
limited format but for the Modified (HL-on) format and the
upcoming (DX_on) format it just doesn't cut it. I mean the most
damage it can do is 90 for 4 energies and you would have to have
5 Stage 1 pokemon on your bench.

This is a bomb in limited, however it doesn't really shine
through in the Modified format. The attacks just aren't good
enough to warrant it being in a deck. 3 energy for 40 and sleep
is alright, but the 4 energy for 40 plus 10 for each stage one
you have on your bench just isn't worth the investment. Don't
even think about playing this in Unlimited. Unlimited 1/5
Modified 2/5 Limited 4/5
