Victreebel LM
Unlimited 1/5 - Why waste a stage 2 line to "Gust" out Stage 2
Pokemon, when you can just use Gust of Wind?
Modified 2/5 - So far, I think even though it can target Pidgeot,
Blastoise ex, and Pokemon alike for KO, I still see this card
having limited usage. Perhaps I rank this higher after Holon
Phantom, if the metagame makes this card more useful. I mean,
targeting Pokemon such as Dark Ampharos isn't that useful, in my
opinion, because Rock Lock's main threat is Dark Tyranitar. I
think you'll have a hard time making good use of Victreebel to
KO your opponent's Dark T-Tar before they can charge it up and
bring it as an Active Pokemon.
Draft 3/5 - If you got the stage 2 line, you can't refuse it in
a draft in general. You need something with decent HP and decent
attack power, after all.

It's pretty good. I love dual
conditions.
Combine this with the hypno with binding aura where they cant
escape asleep by evolving. A grass and a colorless to do 10 and
automatically poison then put them to sleep. think of this
automatic poison, I don't know about you guys but I hate being
poisoned, well what the heck add just a pinch of twist to this
go to sleep, wa-bam!! Lets say you have a grass down on him they
may not know it but you have a double colorless, slap her down
and for the two energy your bell can hit for 40, possibly a 70.
Dual color decks put on G energy, then put what ever the color
you feel like putting on it, (put two on though). the HP is
decent 100, retreat is alright a double colorless if need be.
Think of the pokepower as just a little extra for this.
unfortunately they need to be a stage 2 but there's no flipping.
I must admit I like the little Bell, both in video game and
cards although that jungle one from back in the day really, ate
poo. |
