Holons Magnemite :
Unlimited 1/5: This cards main strength is that it is used
with Holon Mentor to be an attachable energy turn 1.
Unlimited decks have enough RDP ( raw draw power) to search
energies out. Whether it is by CPU search or other means.
Modified 4/5: 100% of the top decks in this format run this
card. Bannette variants , MetaDrag , MSN , Delta , and
Flygod/Flytech.
Limited 1/5: Limited decks consist of mostly energy. Thus
this is uneeded.

4/5 Holon's Magnemite
I personally try to play at least one Holon's Magnemite
in every deck. It boosts your early game consistency by
alot, but at the same time, also hurts it. It lets you
Delta Draw on turn 2 at the latest nearly every time as
long as you run sufficient Transceivers/Mentors. But of
course, Magnemite starts suck; really, really suck.
You're stuck with a 40 HP non-Delta basic taking up one
of your bench slots. You have to decide whether its work
the risk. To me, it is. I love the consistency boost.

Holon's Magnemite
Fantastic in some decks as it transforms mentor into an
energy finding tool but by no means staple. A good use
is alongside holon's castform as you will play heavy
mentor to support the start. If a free retreat pokemon
is your starter then the mentor used for castform can
rescue you from an energy-less start. As good as this
opportunity may be, there remains the risk that he may
appear as your lone starter pokemon, ruining your game.
