Xatu Lv. 44 SW
Good morning, today’s COTD is one that has a unique
ability that is also found in the video games (Under
a different name but…) This is a stage 1 poke’ that
should stay on your bench and use it’s ability
unless your opponent has a Blissey with massive
amounts of energy on it. An amazing power makes you
want to keep Xatu on the banch, and low HP make you
have to keep him on the bench. I have seen a few
decks with this guy, but he doesn’t seem so good.
Add him + the second attack from Golduck from SW and
you basically do 60 + auto confuse (If they don’t
kill Golduck (Which is nice.))
Pros –
Keep unwanted special conditions off you pokemon
Good anti-Blissey attack
Good resistance on it’s basic (Anti-Riolu donk)
Cons –
Attack sucks unless used vs. Blissey
You need a special condition to shift it
Unlimited – Special conditions here? Never. 1/5
Modified – Could work in the right deck. 3.25/5
Limited – Not a lot of energies or special
conditions are played here. 2.5/5
I have found a decent deck list with this guy
before; I just can’t find it again,
