Nidoking Lv. 55 SW
In this corner, with a height of 4 feet 7 inches,
weighing in at more than 136 pounds; today’s
heavyweight contender is, the king (Lol.) With 130
HP and Weakness to psychic, this pokemon is not
getting OHKO’ed very easily. The first attack is
good, you can either do 20 damage and poison or
switch the defending pokemon then poison and do 20,
either way your going to hit the pokemon you want.
The second attack on this thing is slightly
expensive (Can be helped with Nidoqueen MT) but, it
has the chance (Even though a slight one.) to a
maximum of a massive 180 damage! Even if the king
doesn’t do 180 it still could do 120 or 150, which
are both very large numbers. Now for the best part,
for every Nidoqueen MT on your bench (As long as she
can use her ‘body) all of the kings attacks cost (c)
less, that means that with 2 on the bench, the first
attack costs nothing and the second attack costs (p)
(p)! Just like Nidoqueen, the king has a big 2
retreat cost, just big enough you don’t want to use
it but small enough that you can. Also, Nidoqueen
(Delta) from DF lets you search for any pokemon once
per turn!
Pros –
Maximum of 180 damage!
130 HP
Cheaper attacks once Nidoqueen MT is out
Switching opponents pokemon is good
Cons –
2 retreat cost
Co-dependant on Nidoqueen
Unlimited – Sorry, not even the king does good here.
1/5
Modified – This card is great once used in the right
deck. 4/5
Limited – No Nidoqueen = expensive attack for 4
energies. 3.5/5
Don’t mess with the king,
“I saw Elvis yesterday...
He sat between me and Bigfoot on the UFO.”
