LATIAS D
Latias D can work in combination with Latios ex d in any
deck running the Holon Engine, as a counter to Houndoom's (UF)
Lonesome Poke-Body. The free retreat it gains from Latios ex
d is useful in many decks, like Metanite.
However, the two spots they end up taking together can be
difficult to fit into many decks.

Today’s Card Of The Day is…Latias d from Holon Phantoms
One of the post popular pokemon, latias d is see more
play because his body requires a latios or latios ex be
in play. Out of all the latios varients the latios d ex
is the most playable, therefore the latias d is added to
shut down your opponets evolved pokemon bodies. It
really hurts pokemon like houndoom, and shedinja. Plus
collect is a nice option should you ever have to start
with him. Add his reststence to the 2 most popular types
in the game, and he is a solid choice.
Combos: Any Latios, would work well, and there are
plenty to choose from
Modified: 2/5 He should never see the active position,
and his body is so situational, that he may or may not
make a difference.
Limited: 3/5 His dual resistence is very handy, and
collect is a great attack when you cant play many
supporters.
Current ebay Value: $2.00 (Plus or minus .75 cent)

Latias d
Latias d is part of the "Lati-lock" pair, with the other
being Latios d ex. Using Latios d ex and Latias d is
much better than using Latios d Dual Aura with another
Latias. Most of the time, Latias d will be Mentor-ed for
along with Latios d ex to lock down bodies. The number
of things Lati-lock can shut down is limited though,
however. Off the top of my head, the only popular cards
I can think of are Houndoom and Safeguarders. Granted,
Lati-lock is still very good if you can find room for
it. Houndoom alone is worth shutting down.
With a retreat cost of 1 and a C for draw 1 attack,
Latias d is actually a decent starter if you're forced
to start with it. A mentor for Latios d ex the following
turn will be able to bring it out of the active spot, or
turn 1 if you go second.
One of this card's strong points is its psychic
resistance, a very popular type right now. This card can
stall Banette and Flygon d ex for precious time if
needed.
This rating will be based on running it with Latios d
ex, because there's really no other viable way to play
it.

My name is Latias
Dual Aura somebody?
Together with Latios
I lock your Pokebody
Unlimited : Could lock down Vileplume Ex but you just
have to GOW it to take away the lock.
Rating : 1/5
Modified: Very nice combo with Latios to activate the
Latias body, cause there ae many good Pokebodies around
in today’s Metagame. For example: Houndoom, Slaking,
Flygon d Ex just to name a few and with these little
amigo’s you can lock them down.
Rating : 2.5/5
Limited: The chance that you get both is to little plus
there aren’t many bodies around to worry about.
