Pojo's Pokemon Card of the Day

Jason Klaczynski "Ness" 2006 World Champion	JIRACHI DX: Modified: After losing Swoop Teleporter, Jirachi took a big hit, as it tends to get stuck active for a turn when you're ready to go.  However, its amazing at helping you set up, and 60 HP is a very nice number to avoid most turn two KOs. 4.5/5   Unlimited: Not bad, since you don't need to flip to use Wishing Star against a Cleffa.  Unfortunately, they don't have to flip to Eeeeeeek.  Cleffa (Neo: Genesis) is always going to be the way to go in unlimited. 2/5   Limited: Opening with it will give you a tremendous advantage, allowing you to get out a key evolution. 5/5
Alex "Chuck" Brosseau 5th place Worlds 2006 (Also current "best looking player")	Jirachi DX Jirachi is always going to be a great card. Deck manipulation without having to waste a supporter or an attack is sick. This card will be played till the day it rotates. Unlimited: 3/5 Almost as good of an opener as Cleffa. Nice recovery to have after a Lass. Sucks that they get a free Eeeeeeek off it though. Modified: 4/5 5/5 last format, but 4/5 now that Castform has shown itself to be the superior card. Still a great opener though. Limited: 5/5 Any draw is amazing in this format. This is probably the best card you could draft in DX.
William Hung	My reviews and ratings are for Modified only. Jirachi DX Modified 4/5 - Although this card isn't as needed as before, this is still a strong opener for numerous decks that doesn't have delta Pokemon as a majority. You can use this as an early "wall" while you set up.
Espeon	Jirachi dx Unlimited: 1/5 This is a format without the need for starters. That means Jirachi is useless Modified: 3.5/5 It lost alot of power with the rotation of Swoop but it can still be a decent starter in a some non-delta decks. Delta decks rule the format so it's uses are fairly low right now. Limited: 5/5 Card advantage is amazing in this format. This effect is game breaking in this format.
