Ratings are based
on a 1 to 5 scale.
1 being the worst. 3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Modified:
No decks rely on needing multiple types of basic energy.
Anything that does
search for energy is generally looking for non basic energy,
in which case
Holon Lass, which also works with Holon Transceiver, becomes
by far a
superior choice.
1.5/5
Unlimited:
Again, no decks in unlimited have multiple basic energy
demands. Supporters
only slow you down, you don't want to run more than two or
three.
1/5
Limited:
Not bad here, because it allows you to run three types and
not worry about
energy as much.

I don’t think any decks out there right now play multiple types
of basic energy, seeing as Castform provides two of anything.
The only deck this would be ran in is a bad one.
Unlimited: 1/5
Supporters suck here. This one is one of the worst you could
play.
Modified: 1/5
What deck would use this? Just play Castaway and get the one
Energy, plus two other GOOD cards!
Limited: 5/5
Really good here, where you actually USE multiple basic types.
Thinning your deck of 3 cards is great, and guaranteeing at
least 3 energy drops in a row is big.

Modified 2/5 - There are decks like Ho-oh ex that can benefit
from this trainer/supporter, but overall there are superior
trainer/supporters out there. If this wasn't a supporter, it
would be quite powerful, as it would thin your deck down faster,
leading to better draws.
