Steve Silvestro 2001 WCSTS Champ 2006 Top 8 @ Nats 2006 10th at Worlds	Machop: Unlimited: F for 20. it's got the equivalent of Jab from hitmonchan, + it can evolve. 3/5 Modified: This card is the cornorstone of one of the newest and most popular beatdown decks in the game. (See my newest article for that). Combo this with a barrage of Plus Powers and Str Charms to wreck havoc of your opponents H. Castforms. 4/5 Limited: It's a solid fast hitter I suggest taking everyone you can. 5/5
NN British Nationals Qualifier	Machop if this had come out before the diamond a pearl series you could have run it without it's evolutions cause of his above average hp and attack damage. but seeing the other card in the dp set lowers this cards rating by tenfold, plus he has got 2 retreat cost. he is ok though i guess. Modified:2.5
Meganium45 PTO - St. Louis "You must respect my authoitae"	OK, a decent card, reminds me of the old, old, old haymaker days.   1 for 20, 60 HP, and a weakness of only +10, all good things.   Retreat of 2?  Is that a typo?   Can pop a castform or an elekid in the mouth on turn 1...kinda nice...   Unlimited...um, no, but the Machamp is worth looking at...2.5/5   Modified...Maybe after the rotation...MARIO!  ... 3/5   Limited...I like taking anything that is 1 for 20....3.5/5   See you all next week, upon the conclusion of the Battle Roads!   Vince
Moza	Machop   Ah, back to the base-set days. 60 hp is an improvement, but the cost of that improvement is the increased retreat cost. This however is the best machop legal, and a good haymaker pokemon.   Modified: 5/5 in a machamp deck, 3/5 in a RUSH deck
James	Well Pojo its Friday and for the M-Azing one that means work is over for the week! It also Means this is the last Review you guys get for the week but hey don’t worry we all will be back on Monday. Anyway time to review A Generation one pokemon Machop. Machop is of course a fighting type with 60 Hp, plus 10 weakness to Psychic, a retreat cost of 2, and a one fighting cost attack low Kick which deals out 20 damage. A Short Review I know but hey there isn’t much to review this is an Ok Machop but then again in decks you use Machop in hes not what you want to keep on the field. Unlimited: 3/5 a Decent amount of Machops to chose from and this one isn’t to bad Modified: 4/5 Less machops to chose from and from what Ive seen this could be one of the better ones. Limited:4/5 this is a Good Family to try out if you can draft em all. A wize man once said forgiveness is divine but never pay full price for late pizza
JokerBoy	Machop-Now here is a common card that is an actual common that is not viewed just as a pokemon to evolve from. Machop can OHKO many normal and electric starters easily with his attack 1 for an auto 20 is great on any fighting basic because with the small help of strength charm or plus power you can kill basics such as castforms, pikachus, and skittys which are all common starters in the modified format and you can end the game very quickly.
