Hey There People it’s
Me the M-Azing once again for another week of Pokemon
Reviews. Looks like most likely the next 2 weeks will be
full of Short Reviews as I got a lot of Stuff going on
for the next couple weeks like work, and a Small
Vacation ^^. Anyway here we go with today’s Card
Mismagius.
Now this is a Psychic type with Plus 20 weakness to
dark, minus 20 resistance to Normal, 90hp, retreat cost
of one colorless, and is a Stage 1 pokemon. Its first
attack cost one psychic and can get you anywhere from 10
to 60 damage each turn, the attack deals damage equal to
the number of pokemon you have im play that have damage
on them. The other move Psywaye Does an Auto 30 damage
plus 20 for each energy on the defending pokemon, this
move cost 2 Psychic and one Colorless energy to perform.
Overall this Card isn’t to bad, and giving it’s a stage
on means its not so hard to use, give it a try it may
surprise you.

Mismagius Lv. 37
Diamond and Pearl
Mismagius is a
Stage 1, Psychic type Pokemon that evolves from
Misdreavus, has 90 HP, +20 Dark Weakness, -20
Colorless Resistance, and a Retreat Cost of C.
The HP is decent,
the weakness is very good since not much Darkness is
seen in this metagame (besides Shiftry/Absolutions),
the resistance is good because it can block Delcatty
ex, and the retreat cost is good as well. The HP is
fairly decent.
When I first saw
this card I noticed that it had a similar attack to
Neo Discovery Espeon in its Psywave attack. If any
of you remember, that card was VERY playable and in
fact, used in a myriad of decks. In addition to
Psywave, its first attack, Avenge, is somewhat
decent as well. One combo I foresee using Mismagius
is with Drifblim from DP. You fill your bench with
Pokemon using Mentor/Great Ball/etc. then build a
Drifblim and Explosive Smoke for 60, doing 10 to
each benched Pokemon. Free retreat the Drifblim and
use Avenge for 50-60 damage with 1 energy then clean
up with Psywave. However, it would be weak to Ray d
ex and other bench sniping decks. Not to mention
neither Pokemon's HP is very high.
