Morning. Hopefully you are getting Thanksgiving week
off… If not, at least enjoy it. =D Today’s COTD is
one of my favorite pokemon from the new D&P sets (At
least in my top ten favorite pokemon.) The HP on
this thing rocks, 110 for a stage 1 is massive and
can even survive a OHKO from the “Mad Monster
Masher” Infernape… Even if it has a strength charm!
The first attack is really good, for only 2 (c) you
get, auto switch + 20 + 50% chance of paralyzing is
great disruption. The second attack is a bit hefty
requiring 4 (c) but does 80 damage (Even though he
can’t attack next turn.) No colorless pokemon in
modified right now can do as much damage for 4 (c)
or less, not even the super hyped Blissey. The
weakness is a bit hard, fighting leaves him
vulnerable to a OHKO from Mario’s Machamp (Mario the
deck, not the dude…) Four retreat cost is massive,
but can be played around with warp point (For even
further disruption,) or switch. If you look around,
you can find a good deck list made with this guy. =D

Unlimited – Need disruption? Use Slowking, want
power? Use Sneasle 1/5
Modified - It’s great, able to disrupt your opponent
and do 80 damage is awesome 4.25/5
Limited – Massive HP + Colorless + Stage 1 =
amazing! 5/5
