Hello, I'm kinda stressed for time, here is my COTD
for today, enjoy. =D
Alakazam Lv. 47 MT
Hello there once again. Today’s COTD is Alakazam,
the psychic pokemon that would OHKO any soup pokemon
if any is ever made. With a nice 100 HP, this
pokemon can survive a blast from some of the
toughest pokemon out there (With one strength charm
that Red Hot Taijutsu Monkey, Infernape can still
OHKO him.) The poke-power is nice, just discard two
cards from you hand to stop any poke-power. There
are easier ways to stop poke-powers, but none other
than this one allows you to choose which powers go
through. I could see Infernape using a 1-1 line of
him and Abra just to abuse his power of killing
powers without killing it’s own Delcatty.
That attack is lacking, 2 (P) and 1 © for 50, Even
if it does let him survive the next attack, he can’t
do enough damage to do much good. If it did 60 or 70
damage, it could at least 2HKO almost any non-Lv.X
stage 2 in modified. As is, he can only 2HKOpokemon
with 100 HP or less.
Pros –
100 HP
Power cancel
Instant stage 2 evolution from deck with Abra for
only 1 (p) 1 ©
Cons –
Feeble attack
Can still be OHKOed by the inferno Infernape with
just one strength charm.
Unlimited – Stage 2 = NO! 1/5
Modified – Could be good to help control powers. 4/5
Limited – Good luck finding any stage 2’s or powers
here. 3.5/5
