Pikachu POP4:
Unlimited 1/5: His attacks aren't that great. His weakness
to fighting means that Hitmonchan will run rampid on you.
Need I say more?
Modified 2/5: While there are much better Pikachus out there
in modified , you will not get totally destroyed with using
this one. A solid [L][C] attack that will do 20 and 10 to a
bench is pretty good if you go into Raichu EX who can
"snipe" at the bench.
.
Limited N/A: Impossible to rate this card in limited. the
POP series cards are not drafted with. It would take 30 or
so POP packs to do an accurate Sealed tournament. |

The second Pikachu to
be reviewed this week is the adorable POP4 varient.
Great art: Pikachu's at a nice angle with a beautiful
waterfall in the bachground.
As a card Pikachu is not bad. 50HP is sufficent but
there are better choices. The main reason it isn't
playable is once again because of its lack of featuring
the delta symbol, so decks cannot benefit in the same
way as other pikachus. By the time Pikachu could have
enough energy to use its Spark attack, you should have
evolved it or else leaving it at risk from an easy KO.
Because there are still better Pikachus to use, as cute
as this art is, don't put him in your deck.
