Pikachu PK:
Unlimited 3/5: If you can find a good Raichu in Unlimited ,
THIS is the Pikachu to play. With the ability in Unlimited to
put cards in the discard pile you will have no problems
getting a L energy to use Pika's top attack. This one is a
winner
Modified 3/5: I'm giving this review based on the fact I
hope you go second. With the Holon Engine it should be
relativly easy to get a L energy in the discard pile to
Charge it back.
Limited 2/5: Charge does virtually nothing early game. And
late game when they finally get something built up you will
not be able to take getting hit first. His bottom attack is
very solid with a potential fourty. |

Power Keepers Pikachu
This desert-themed Pikachu card is usable due to its
great first attack.
40HP is never welcome on a card and this of course
impacts the score heavily but speedy energy building is
nice. Energies can easily be discarded using holon
supporter cards. When pikachu evolves into Raichu d, the
lightning energy charged onto Pikachu can be bounced
back to your hand by attaching a holon pokemon for
energy. If your opponent goes first, on your second turn
you can then use Raichu d's Metallic thunder to KO a
holon's castform then keep the energies to discard next
turn for 90 damage. Such a move would give you good
control of the board.
The negatives; being low HP and non-delta reduce the
score but if used
right:

The first attack
isn’t something to play turn one, charge is usually
something you want if you plan on discarding an electric
energy turn one. Slam is decent, but the 40Hp keeps me
from playing this one.2/5 |
