Glacia's Stadium:
Very few strong water Pokemon exist in modified now.
Regardless, because of the threat of Cessation Crystal,
decks run Windstorm, rather than their own stadiums, and
don't have room for cards like this.

Name :
Glacia’s Stadium
Set :
EX Power Keepers
Card# :
76/108
Rarity :
Uncommon
Type :
Trainer
Sub-type:
Stadium
Effect Text:
This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card
if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card
with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.
Each player’s (W) Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex) has no
Weakness.
Right
now, Glacia’s Stadium is a bit overshadowed: while
getting rid of the Weakness of your Pokémon is good, there are a
lot of good Stadiums right now for this to compete with, but if
you have a mostly Water deck (that isn’t built around
Pokémon-ex) then one or two copies of this is probably a good
idea for your deck. Remember, especially with Scott in
your deck, you can do well with a Stadium split (that is running
more than one specific Stadium). I actually prefer splitting it
if I can: it lets you handle a wider variety of decks. Most
Water decks don’t contain Weaknesses to more than one or two
Types. So… you won’t need to eliminate your Weakness most of
the time. But when you do, it’s a life saver. Sure, your
opponent will have a chance to get rid of it before they attack,
but a chance is better than no chance.

Glacia’s stadium
Modified: I don’t know of any non-ex water pokemon worth
using this card for. 1/5
Unlimited: …no. 1/5
Limited: Works a little better in this format, but what
stadium card doesn’t. 3/5 |

My name is Glacia
My Stadium stops Weakness
All Water Pokemon love me
Except Pokemon Exes
Unlimited: The only really good Water Pokemon that are
around here are Blastoise and Suicune Ex. To bad the
card says no Exes otherwise this could be great in your
Suicune ex Blastoise Deck.
Rating : 1.5/5
Modified: We don’t see many Water Pokemon here cause of
MetaNite but with this card Water Pokemon might have a
chance. The only downside is that it’s a Stadium card
wich mean Windstorm knocks it away.
Rating : 2/5
Limited: This with Glalie is Super nice otherwise kinda
useless cause there aren’t many good Water Pokemon in
the set.

Glacia's Stadium
Like Drake's stadium, In order for it to have any use at
all (bar countering another stadium) it must stick. If
they counter it the turn following, your pok¨¦mon have
weakness again. This unreliabilty causes problems in
planning the future turns of the game - you cannot tell
whether your pok¨¦mon will still be around. The
excluding ex clause turns the card into a joke, as they
are the ones that will end up taking the most damage
from weakness as they have more HP to endure attacks
with. As the card must stick to be useful and there are
far stronger stadiums to stick in play, there is no
appeal to using the card.
