(03/07/08) - Hypno Lv. 28 Finally Friday, am I right? Good luck to everybody for tomorrow's tourneys. Today we have something that will not be making many decks, let alone top cuts. Name: Hypno Lv. 28 Set: Great Encounters Rarity: Rare Analysis: At first glance, I was like, 'Lv. 28, Seriously?!'. Then I saw how bad this Hypno is and understood. Then I wondered why they would be so cruel and represent Hypno with this card. 80 HP, retreat cost of 2, +20 weakness to psychic, no resistance. BAD, BAD, BAD! 'Dream Catcher' can combo with Venusaur and Cresselia Lv. X, but that's digging deep. It also should cost 1 energy less. 'Hypnoblast' is average: mediocre damage and mediocre effect. Sorry Hypno, I don't see any use for you at all. Modified: Possibly to combo with Cresselia and Venusaur. That's about it. (2/5) Limited: Low HP for a Stage 1, large retreat cost, and a first attack that will rarely work. (2/5)

Hypno Lv.28 GE   Hey there ya’ll. I am short on time today so this will have to be quick, Dream Catcher is ment to be used in unison with Hypnoblast but it just doesn’t work. 60 for 2 (P) 1 (C) isn’t worth is and the psychic weakness lets Gardevoir OHKO this thing easily.   Pros – Moving damage counters from Hypno to defending pokemon   Cons – 2 much retreat cost Low HP Bad Weakness Horrid first attack Bad second attack   Modified – Do you not see all of those cons? 1.75/5   Limited - Cons and 2 (P) requirement makes it suck here too. 2/5   Wow, first time I’ve ever got close to 1/5 on a Modified review,   “Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?" Then a voice says to me, "This is going to take more than one night."”
